The AAQ Conference is open to full and associate members and their partners. 2 day conference fees $185.00 per person.
Associate members the two day fee is $215.00.
The Sunday farm tour and Aquaponics presentation is open to non members for $95.00 per person.
Join the AAQ from $115 (Associate) $285 (Full licensed) $165 (Interstate & Overseas) per year.
The AAQ Conference and field day will be held at the Isis Club, Churchill St, Childers, 4660 on the 10-11th August 2013.

Updating from last year, Charlie will show us the latest
developments of their Future Wave products, and
see one in operation on Sunday at QNF’s farm.

an overview and update will be given on the future of

SUNDAY 11TH AUG
Farm tours featuring Murray Hallem Practical Aquaponics
You MUST be registered ! click for registration form. $95.00 per person

741 Sims Rd, Childers. Ausyfish is a certified disease free hatchery,
and an approved quarantine facility for export of live fish.
Established by Bruce Sambell in 1988, the farm
consists of 127 ponds on 200 acres and licensed to
produce 200 different species including silver perch and jade perch.
10.30 am QLD NATIVE FISH
Hatchery Rd, Childers.
Dale and Lisa Cockerton run QNF,
specializing in the grow out of Jade Perch in ponds as
well as producing fingerlings from their own hatchery.
With a small Aquaponics system on site, Murray Hallam will run through an experts overview and give
details of how to successfully start your own Aquaponics setup. Morning tea will be provided.
12.00 pm POND PERCH
539 Knocksrow Rd, North Isis.
Steve and Lisa Volz produce Silver Perch on their 39.4 ha property which has two fingerling
ponds and 15 grow out ponds. Members will be given a guided, on foot, around the property, tour.
1.30 pm MANGO PARADISE BED AND BARRA
3957 Isis Hwy, Cordalba.
Col and Jan Taylor’s farm is situated 10 mins NW of Childers
and is run as a B&B as well as a Silver Perch grow out facility.
There are two cabins available for accommodation where visitors and tourists can also throw a
line in the fish out ponds, where they can catch a number of species, including Barramundi over 100cm
long.
A BBQ lunch will be provided, with drinks available to purchase from the licensed bar.
